Piano Lessons
Piano Man Music provides personal piano instruction to students of any age and/or musical level. Piano Man Music teaches many styles of music, including classical, contemporary, Broadway and musical, sacred and worship, improvisation, sight-reading, ear training, theory, and other styles of music necessary to help a student learn all aspects of music.

Piano Instruction Philosophy
Our philosophy of teaching is to facilitate learning, help students to reach personal musical goals, provide mentorship where applicable, give encouragement and make piano lessons an enjoyable and lifetime experience.

Expectations
Students are expected to commit to a regular practice schedule for a reasonable amount of time given work, school, and family schedules. It is recommended that the student practice lesson assignments once per day equal to the lesson time (i.e. 30 minutes practice per day for a 30 minute weekly lesson, or one hour practice per day for a one-hour weekly lesson). In our experience, the more a student practices, the more productive the lesson time and the faster the student grows and improves.

Policies and Other Information

• Lesson rates are $30 per hour or $15 per 30-minute lesson, due at the first lesson of every month for that month’s lessons.
• Lesson times are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and are generally held during week days. Other special times can be arranged on an individual basis.
• Students are expected to attend their regularly scheduled lesson times. For cancellations more than 48 hours in advance (by phone), we will attempt a make-up session, but there are a limited number of makeup sessions available.
• All students are expected to arrive to lessons prepared for their lesson.
